The EFA-DT invites PhD students to submit their single-authored research paper on topics within the field of finance. Each student is limited to submitting one paper. Dual submission to the Annual Meeting and Doctoral Tutorial is allowed, note the separate deadlines and submission systems.

EFA 51st Annual Meeting

Call for Papers: Irish Academy of Finance 5th Annual Conference

The Irish Academy of Finance would like to invite all academics and practitioners to participate in the Irish Academy of Finance (IAF) conference, 16-17 May 2024. The IAF is an internationally focused professional association for research and education on the discipline of Finance. It promotes the advancement of research, knowledge and education in the field of Finance with a particular focus on engaging academic and professional communities. It aims to enhance collaborations between researchers in Finance from many universities and other institutions in Ireland and abroad.  Papers in all areas of Finance, Money, Banking, Economic history, Monetary and Macro-Finance, Fintech, AI and Machine Learning, Sustainable Finance, and ESG are welcome. Authors of accepted papers will be required to discuss a paper in the same session.

Call for Papers: LAPE-FINEST Spring Workshop Bank Performance and Financial Stability in the Era of Responsible Banking

FINEST workshops are small meetings with an in-depth discussion (from top scholars) of a limited number of high-quality papers with the aim of fostering discussion among academics, policymakers, and practitioners about the evolving challengers facing banks. For the 2024 Spring Workshop, they expect to accept for presentation about six full papers and six short presentations in the PhD/Young Scholar sessions.

2nd European Sustainable Finance PhD Workshop. 

The Faculty of Business and Economics and the Centre of Climate Resilience of the University of Augsburg are organizing a PhD workshop together with colleagues from CREST, ENSAE, ESCP, KU Leuven, Warwick Business School, and Utrecht University on the topic of Sustainable Finance. They invite PhD students to apply to present and discusstheir current research to professors and other PhD students with a focus on Sustainable Finance. The submission is open to a wide range of theoretical and empirical work on Sustainable Finance including, but not limited to Corporate Finance and Governance, Asset Pricing, Climate Finance, and ESG Investing. The presentation of single-authored papers is particularly encouraged.

 Second Aarhus Workshop on Strategic Interaction in Corporate Finance

The objective of this workshop is to present state-of-the-art academic research on topics related to strategic interaction in corporate finance. There will be one track of presentations over the course of two days, with a small number of papers on the program to allow for ample time for discussions and to create a stimulating environment. Each paper will have a discussant. The workshop will start with a welcome reception on the evening of Sunday August 18, 2024.
